Description

Exterior of the Buckland Public Library, originally known as the Free Public Church Library believed to have been around the time of the library's dedication on July 4, 1891. The building, which still serves as the Buckland Public Library as of this writing in March 2010, is built of brick with a slate roof and contains a single room twenty-five by thirty-six feet. It has a hip style roof with two ornamental spires. The first librarian, Clara Bement, is standing in the entry way.
