Description
An advertisement for the Worcester Umbrella Company published in the June, 1902 Worcester Magazine. The advertisement has a woman in a long, flowing dress carrying an umbrella. A heart with the company name is pressed against her chest. The advertisement proclaims that one should buy their umbrellas because they are not made in sweat shops but are made "in the cleanest and most up-to-date factory in the United States" and "by the most intelligent help of any factory in the business." The Worcester Umbrella Company was located at 44 Vine Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.
