Description
View of the A. Ward & Co. building on Central Street decorated with large flags and bunting. The original building was moved on runners to this site from the Lower Village during the building of the Wachusett Reservoir and was later remodeled with a second story added. In 1939 the building (the Red & White Store, ca. 1930) burned along with adjoining buildings.
