View of the valley after the Wachusett Reservoir filled to capacity. The
causeway in the middle of the image carries State Road (Route) 12 towards
Sterling from West Boylston from right to left. There is a line of
people on the causeway. The line of maple trees along the left side of the
image trace one of the original roads removed during the construction.
