Southeast section of the Alden Block, Globe Village, providing detail of the brick facade enhanced by stone. Sign over the door reads: Furniture Ware Rooms. Under the windows there is more signage for Picture Frames, Furniture & Bedding, Ware Rooms. Samples of the inventory such as wagons are out front. Two granite steps lead into the interior where a glimpse of a stairwell is provided through an open doorway. A hitching post with a horse's head is directly in front of the entrance to the store. Two retractable striped awnings are placed on each window of the shop front. A man with a hat and gauntlet like sleeve protectors, suggesting a store clerk, is standing in front of the business. A barn is located in the rear, to the right of the scene.
