Page 53 from Houses in Lincoln 100 Years Old and Over with Some of Their Owners (copy 2). View of home that is believed to currently be 28 Lexington Road, Lincoln, Mass. Top image, c. 1880; Bottom image, c. 1935. Text reads, "The Flint family had in [Handwritten note: "1653"] 1680 750 acres including Flint's now Sandy Pond. Edward Flint, whose house was near Julia Bemis' [handwritten note: "across from library") had 1000 acres. It is not known when the present house was built. In 1879 it was remodelled from an old type. Major Ephraim Flint. George Flint. 1914 Edward F. Flint."
