Description

Francis A. Bagnall was the president from 1930-1936. In 1932, the State Normal School at Framingham (also called the Framingham Normal School) became the State Teachers College at Framingham (also known as Framingham State Teachers College). All of the state normal schools were now called state teachers colleges and principals were now called presidents. Once Bagnall retired he relocated to Washington, D.C., where he became an education policy consultant.
