Alumna Lydia Stow, member of the first class at Lexington Normal School. Graduated, March 24, 1841. Lydia married Robert Adams, and resided in Fall River, MA. Both Lydia and Robert were abolitionists, and Robert was a Conductor in the Underground Railroad. They had close ties to Frederick Douglass and Sojourner Truth stayed at their house on one occasion
