Description
The May Queen and her court of the class of 1938, celebrate their May Day celebration in 1940. The festivities started with a chapel service, and after prayers, members of the sophomore class would all create the same dress and then parade through campus, and often present an outdoor show based on a specific theme. May Day Celebrations began in 1932 and each year since the sophomore class would create this Springtime celebration. May Day continued until the early 1970s and then became more of a dinner dance and eventually phased out.
