Thirty-five photographs chiefly black & white, some framed, some in cardboard matting, some mounted on heavy paper/cardboard, in a phase box. 1 box ; 38 x 30 x 6 cm. - Waban is a Newton, Massachusetts village which sprang up after Beacon Street was extended west from Newton Centre to Woodward and Washington Streets in 1855. - Fourteen young children grouped on lawn and porch steps of a columned house. Girls in light colored dressed and with hair bows. Possibly at home of William H. Oakes, 100 Upland Road, Waban. Margaret Brigham, Elizabeth Hovey, Catherine Hovey, Margaret Buffam, Helen Buffam, Eleanor Walker, Hall Walker, D. Stetson (Dorothy), Richard Oakes, Bob Brigham, Irene Davidson, Catherine Oakes, Roger Bacon. -
