28 illustrations of the streets, public buildings and general view of "The Garden City” - Page 26 - Park bordered by Vernon, Eldredge and Church Streets in Newton Corner, Mass - View facing Eldredge Street with pond, bridge, light pole, Grace Church in background. - Farlow Park was Newton's first public park. The 3 acre plot of land was given to the City by John S. Farlow. Landscape plan was drawn up by George Meacham but modified and laid out by Albert Noyes, City Engineer and Henry Ross, superintendent of the Newton Cemetery. -
