The Cushing-Haven Tavern was built in 1751, by Colonel
Job Cushing, son of Reverend Job Cushing, Shrewsbury's first minister.
In 1871, the tavern was moved across Main Street to make room for the
new Town Hall to be built. It was torn down in 1960.
