Description
Nelson and Rice Currier Shop located on Main Street,
opposite South Street, Shrewsbury (Mass.) During the Civil War, Nelson and
Rice supplied many leather goods for the Union soldiers. Hides came in
to North Grafton (Mass.), by Rail Road and were “teamed” to Shrewsbury
by a four-horse express wagon seen in this picture.
