Princeton Depot, Princeton, Mass, c1900
description- – Princeton Depot located on Hubbardston Road, now Route 62, in Princeton Massachusetts. At its height in the early 1900s as many as eight trains a day passed through the station. The photograph shows the coaches that would take tourists up to the top of Mount Wachusett. Other passengers are shown waiting on the platform deck. The coach ride to the top of Mount Wachusett was a two mile uphill trip.
