World War I disinfecting machine
- – The photograph is of the thrash steam-drive disinfector, a disinfecting machine used by the 26th army division. A group of soldiers stand waiting to receive their clothes. One of the two steam vats is open and the wire basket containing the disinfected clothing is being removed. The clothes were steamed at a temperature of 238 degrees Fahrenheit and at a pressure of 7 to 10 pounds for 30 minutes. The photograph was taken in Saacy, France on August 10, 1918.

Middle Weight Bout, 1919
- – Photograph of a middle weight bout between Corporal Morris from the 101st engineers and Corporal Horton from the 101st Field artillery during the 26th Division boxing tournament. The tournament was held at the American Embarkation Center in the town of Ecommoy in the region of Saithe in France on March 12, 1919. Corporal Morris won the decision.

- – Platoons of the Massachusetts National Guard Infantry marching down Tremont Street in Boston, Massachusetts on June 22, 1916. The participation of the Massachusetts National Guard in the Mexican Border Service in the summer of 1916 was part of a larger campaign by the US Army to help quell raids and disturbances along the US Mexican Border by outlaws and bandits, including Poncho Villa. The Mexican Border Service proved to be important experience for the Massachusetts National Guard. The mobilization and training the Mexican Border Service helped to prepare the Massachusetts National Guard for combat during World War I.
