Girls Club participate in a parade in Southbridge Massachusetts
- – Three members of the Girls Club shown on horseback during the 1916 celebration in Southbridge. Other members of the organization are walking behind the horses in the parade. Striped hats and tunics are worn over a long skirt and white shoes. Shades is provided by the trees overhead. A sign held by the first horse rider announces the name of the club. A man stands at the curb as an onlooker.

Centennial Parade and Celebrations in Southbridge Massachusetts at Foster Street
- – In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the incorporation of Southbridge, a three-day celebration was held - July 2, 3 and 4, 1916. The President of the Executive Committee was Hon. Calvin D. Paige. The dedication of Notre Dame Church was the first event on the program. The brochure also announced that Town Hall would feature"An exhibition of articles of historic interest and a comparative exhibition of some manufacturing methods and products of 1816 and 1916 will be shown."The buildings depicted are festooned with buntings and flags. A view of the Central Baptist Church, offering rest room facilities and the Jacob Edwards Library at the corner of Main and Fosters streets, is provided. A footman in a uniform precedes the Woman's Club float, which has four horses pulling the attractive wooden structure decorated with greenery. Followed on by The Girls Club with two horseback riders and ladies marching in the rear. A glimpse of the trolley tracks are given in the foreground. The Main Street is crowded with onlookers for the parade.

Horse-drawn carriage en fete in Southbridge Massachusetts
- – A horse-drawn carriage full to capacity, with people celebrating the centenary of Southbridge, in July 1916. The backdrop is the distinctive brick facade of the American Optical Company. Eight young women are seated on the outside of the carriage that is festooned with a garland of flowers. Two men are wearing hats, one is holding the reins of the horse. Two women and a girl peep out from the interior of the carriage. The women have their hair swept up and their necks are adorned with chokers. All wear full length clothing. Flags fly from the back of the vehicle. The whip is next to the driver in its holder.

Southbridge and Sturbridge Street Railway Car traveling east at the corner of Elm and Main during festival season
- – Southbridge en fete - the buildings are covered with flags and buntings. In the foreground is a Southbridge and Sturbridge street car on the track at the corner of the Blanchard block. Many different forms of transportation are shown, including some horse drawn buggies, a horse and rider and some men on bicycles. The track the street car travels on is clearly on view. At the Blanchard building there is a decorated arch connecting the other corner of Main Street. There is a curious feature like a balcony connecting two chimney stacks on the roof of the Blanchard building.
