George Albert Draper

  • – A portrait photograph of George Albert Draper, son of George and Hannah Draper who was born in 1855. George Albert Draper was a driving force in the textile world. His keen knowledge of the textile business made the Draper Corporation one of the leaders in the manufacturing of textile machines. He was also a very generous benefactor of the Hopedale Community in Massachusetts, providing the funds for the construction of the Hopedale Unitarian Church and the Community House, a community and recreation center.
