Blanchard block Strand Theatre fire
- – View of the Blanchard block and Strand Theatre, corner of Main and Elm streets, after the fire of January 13th, 1927. Men are standing in front of the charred building where icicles are hanging from the structure. Large sign"STRAND"is visible on the corner of the building. Sections of the roof are missing or hanging over the building. There is a"Slow to Right"stanchion in the middle of Elm Street. A truck is parked in front of the building with the Theatre sign overhead and another in front of the Elm Street side.
